The Chino Implant Study Club was introduced in January, 2007 and developed by Neil Y.L. Hung, DMD, MS., Implantologist and Associated Fellow of American Academy of Implant Dentistry. It is a comprehensive study club directed towards the surgical and restorative treatments of dental implants.Dr Hung was educated in the Loma Linda University, Graduated Implant Dentistry program for three years and received his Master in Science of Implant Dentistry and certificate in Graduate Implant Dentistry in year 2007. Currently, he is pursuing his Graduated endodontics certificate program at the same University and conducting several Endo-Implant related research topics. His master thesis is “Immediate implant placement into the periapical lesions”.This study club is unlike any other. It is a small study group emphasizing in the detail treatment plan discussion and Knowledge exchange. So, every member will be joined the discussions and presentations. The format is a series of lectures, scientific literature reviews, life surgery demonstrations and treatment plans panel discussions with extensive hands-on real world experiences that work with actual clinical scenarios applicable to the majority of dental implant systems available. The study club is surgically and prosthodontically driven, and directed towards the Doctors who have interest in the complex dental treatments.The main objective is to empower doctor’s skills in the full mouth reconstructions by utilizing dental implants as the tool through lectures, literature reviews and treatment plan discussions.
