In August 2007 as a result of an accidental impact to the back of my head, my upper and lower jaw collided causing one of my small upper front teeth to break off slightly above the gum line. I rushed to my general dentist and was referred to see an oral surgeon as this fracture went beyond the scope of general dentistry. Although this traumatic incident was painful and unfortunate in nature some good came out of this as it brought me to the Chino Dental Implant Clinic. On my initial visit I was very impressed by Dr. Hung and his staff who are all highly skilled and friendly professionals. The doctor and his staff showed sincere understanding for my situation as a patient and an ability to provide vital services at a reasonable price. His facility is fully stocked with the latest equipment and technology. This is no ordinary dental office.
Dr. Hung did a comprehensive assessment of my injury as well as a complete oral examination. The doctor and his clinical staff took digital x-rays and then the doctor did a computerized 3D CT-scan on my entire mouth. After reviewing the findings with me I was presented with a few different options for treatment of the broken tooth area. Due to my condition I needed an extraction for the remaining part of the broken tooth. I was not sure if I could have a dental implant done as I have gingivitis and receipting gums as well as bone loss. Dr Hung explained to me that an implant was an option but bone grafting would need to be done first.
I had the bone graft done and once it healed Dr. Hung performed the implant. His work is flawless and any discomfort was kept to a minimal. Since that point in time Chino Dental Implant has redone a few crowns that I have needed replaced, a root canal and some other types of structural and hygienic dental work.
I owe a great deal to the care and treatment plan put together by Dr. Hung and his staff. I traded in my old dental problems for a new smile.
Thanks guys!!
